EU Orders

We are continuing to dispatch the EU & International orders as usual with UPS & TNT. All shipments are subject to complex customs procedures; hence the parcels may be delayed beyond our control.

As our commitment to our customers, we will continue to offer competitive prices and improve our product range.

In order to receive your shipments without any delays or issues, please ensure that you are compliant with the local regulations.

Minimum Spend of £200 required

Due to the new EU complex rules for customs and VAT, we are unable to accept any European or International orders below £200.

Prior to placing an order with us, please check with your local authorities or governing bodies about the additional charges that will be applicable to your shipment, as you are solely liable to pay the duty, taxes and any other handling charges.

Restriction on sending dangerous goods

Since we offer a large selection of products, the following dangerous goods are restricted by customs clearance and cannot be shipped to specific destinations. If any products are affected and cannot be transported, we will notify you when your order is being processed.

  • Perfumes
  • Body Sprays
  • Cosmetics
  • Make-up
  • Toiletries
  • Small Lithium Batteries
  • Nail Polish

Additional Import Documents

Prior to placing an order with us, please confirm with your local custom authorities if they require any additional documents for custom clearance purposes. For example, cosmetics, perfumes, and toiletries may require Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) or Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP) numbers.

We will try our best to obtain this information from our suppliers and inform you accordingly. In the case that the documents cannot be obtained from the supplier or manufacturer, we will advise you to cancel part of your order that we cannot fulfil. It is the customer’s responsibility to communicate with their local authorities and obtain further information. Apollo Accessories Ltd is not liable for losses incurred or delays caused by the custom processes.

In the event that the parcel is returned to us due to custom clearance issues, the customer is liable to pay the return charges including import fees, delivery charges, handling charges, custom charges, and any other admin charges.

Custom Clearance charges and Import Duty taxes

In accordance with the Brexit trade deal, only goods produced in the United Kingdom and the European Union are subject to zero tariff charges. We stock a huge range of products which are manufactured outside the UK & EU, therefore tariffs will be applicable to your purchases.

Our invoices include commodity codes and the country of origin, making them ready for export and customs procedures. The following charges will apply to your shipment upon arrival;

  • VAT (17% to 27%, rate to be determined by your local authorities)
  • Import duty & taxes (2% to 6% approximately, depending on the country of origin)
  • Customs clearance charges & handling charges

We do not have control over the customs procedures or the delivery time frame once the parcel has been collected from our warehouse. However, we will always try to keep you updated you with the information given by our shipping agents and carriers.

VAT charges

In line with export guidelines, we do not charge VAT on any EU orders at the time of dispatch, if they are shipped directly from our warehouse to your EU country.

Upon arrival, the shipments are subject to customs clearances, and VAT is charged at a rate determined by your tax authorities. You should check the latest rates with the governing bodies as some of these charges are some of these charges may be refundable via your VAT returns.
